FBC Moweaqua is a community of real people following the real Jesus and discovering the real hope He brings. We exist to love God wholeheartedly, love others selflessly, and live as His hands and feet in our town and beyond. Whether you’ve grown up in church or are exploring faith for the first time, you’ll find a place here to belong, grow, and live out your faith in everyday life. Our desire is simple: to help people meet Jesus, be transformed by Him, and share His love wherever He leads.

Who We Are

We exist to love God wholeheartedly, love others selflessly, and live as the hands and feet of Jesus in our community and beyond. Everything we do—every gathering, every ministry, every act of service—flows from this calling. We want to be people who pursue God with sincerity, care for others with compassion, and bring the hope of Jesus wherever He leads us.

To be a church of real people, transformed by real hope, following the real Jesus, living out His love in our homes, our town, and the world. This is the future we’re pursuing together—a community marked by authenticity, shaped by grace, and sent out to make an impact far beyond our walls.

Vision

History

  1. First Baptist Church Moweaqua was formed in 1864.

  2. Over 160+ years God has been gracious to us and has grown us to who we are now.

  3. First Baptist Church is located in Moweaqua, Illinois.

  4. Our Senior Pastor Adrian Ferrari has been with us since August of 2025.

  5. Our history is not done being written, come write it with us.
